Almost a year ago

Almost a year ago, I started 2020 off with a challenge of making/sewing a thousand tiny pillows to give away. I wanted people to feel supported in their dreams, aspirations and just loved. Well, well well...I gave out a few, but as life continued on, as I had to drum up so much courage to approach people...the PANDEMIC happened and thus came the end of me going up to strangers. I also thought about leaving them in random places where people could find them, but it's something about a pandemic that brings out all of our fears...fears we didn't even know we had, our vulnerabilities, and our panicked greed. I started giving the tiny pillows out in January 2020 and by the time March rolled around, I couldn't even verbalize or conceptualize or put anything into perspective.
